Nyabuga Emmanuel Kwegena Mary Kibai

My Name is Nyabuga Emmanuel Kwegena a former student of Greater GRACE academic Center. I came to know of Greater GRACE Academic Center in the year 2010 and managed to join the school in 2011 in Class five. The quality of education at the school was fabulous considering the facilities and services offered ranging from the classrooms which are spacious for learning, textbooks for further studies, free exercise books, well-equipped teachers and staff. Free lunch was also offered. I was given a scholarship to help me complete my studies and with this I was able to attain 382 marks out of a possible 500 for my K.C.P.E which I sat for in the year 2014. I also managed to sharpen my leadership skills considering that I was given the chance to be the school head boy (2012-2014)

I managed to join Kisii School in Kisii County where I sat for my K. C. S. E in 2018 and managed to score B plain. I have been selected to join the University of Nairobi to pursue a course in Bachelor of Education (ICT). My dream is to finish university and advance my studies and work as an ICT lecturer.

I hope that one day I will be able to give back to the school for the wonderful opportunity and chance to access quality education.

Tabitha Bwonda Mary Kibai

My name is Tabitha Bwonda. I joined Greater GRACE Academic Center as a class 7 pupil in January 2013. At GRACE Academy, I was able to get a scholarship which enabled me to complete my education until I did my KCPE in the year 2014, after which I attained 367 out of the possible 500 marks. The teachers always ensured we benefited in all that they taught us. The school also provided sufficient books, hot lunch all which created a conducive environment for learning. The foundation that was set in Greater GRACE by my teachers made me to be determined on what I want to be in future. I was able to join St Patrick’s Secondary School in Mosocho, Kisii County.

In high school my abilities were not limited to the classroom alone, I also excelled in sports especially in basketball. While I was forging a name for myself in the academic and sports circles, I also maintained my social life, I worked hard in my high school level and scored a B (Plain) to mark the end of my high school education

I am currently waiting to join Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) to undertake my first degree in Bachelor of medical microbiology. I would like to be a doctor once I finish my studies.

GRACE Initiative has given me a chance to work as an intern at the school as I wait to join the university and I am grateful to for this opportunity. Thank you.

Nyabuto Brian Samai Mary Kibai

My name is Nyabuto Brian Samai. I joined greater GRACE in the year 2011 while in class five. Greater GRACE is the school which I learnt for many years compared to the previous schools where I could even study for one term. My parents could not afford to pay for my education and once I joined Greater GRACE Academic Center, I was offered a scholarship which enabled me complete my Primary education and after I did my K.C.P.E in 2014, I managed to score 380 marks out of the possible 500 as one of the pioneer students. Greater GRACE has its own uniqueness.

Despite helping me pass my primary examination the school still made a follow up on my secondary education at St. Patrick’s school, Mosocho which made me work harder. I sat for my K.C.S.E in the year 2018 where I managed to score a B (plain) of 65 points out of the possible 84. I am currently waiting to join Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in Kakamega to pursue Bachelor of Applied Statistics with IT.

I am grateful to GRACE Initiative for the internship opportunity at the school as I wait to join University. My dream is to see other children get the same opportunity as I did, and it is my hope to give back to the school and make a positive impact in the society.

Thank you.
